Overview

Our client are seeking a Depot Operative to join their team in Aberdeen. The role involves onsite commissioning, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of industrial batteries, chargers, and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong electrical/mechanical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a diligent attitude.

Responsibilities

• Onsite commissioning, maintenance, repair, and cleaning of industrial batteries, chargers, and associated equipment
• Housekeeping of site
• Washing company vehicles
• Acting as a support function for all areas of the business
• Compliance with Quality, Safety, and Environmental management systems and procedures
• Reporting accidents, incidents, near misses, and hazards

Qualifications

No formal qualifications are required, but strong electrical/mechanical knowledge would be an advantage. Full training on products and equipment will be provided.

Day-to-day

The standard working hours are 0730 – 1600, Monday – Friday. The role requires the ability to work unsupervised, excellent memory, and a responsible attitude. The ideal candidate should be an enthusiastic all-rounder with a flexible approach to work and a willingness to learn and develop within the company.
