Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a Project Support Officer to join our client in Aberdeen city centre. The successful candidate will work closely with the Student Records System Replacement Project team, College colleagues, and external suppliers, reporting to the Programme Manager.
Responsibilities
- Take responsibility for the provision of support services to projects.
- Produce reports to support the management and tracking of the project.
- Use business analysis techniques to understand and interpret business needs to assist with detailed requirement documentation.
- Support and provide guidance to the designated project manager and project teams in the delivery of the project.
- Support the transition process from projects into full operation, central to this will be system and support documentation as well as formulate test plans and conduct user acceptance testing.
Qualifications
Essential
- Degree (SCQF Level 9) in relevant subject area or equivalent work experience.
- Evidence of commitment to continuous professional development.
Desirable
- Qualifications relevant to Project Management or Business Analysis.
- Membership of professional bodies.
Day-to-day
- Working closely with the Project team, College colleagues, and external suppliers.
- Producing reports to support project management.
- Using business analysis techniques to understand and interpret business needs.
- Supporting and providing guidance to project managers and teams.
- Supporting the transition process from projects into full operation.
