Overview

Our Engineering Services client is seeking experienced Senior/Principal Instrument and Control (I&C) Engineer for an immediate, ongoing role in Aberdeen. This role involves supporting energy projects in the UKCS and internationally, providing technical expertise and working independently within project frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Support I&C engineering scopes across the project lifecycle
• Deliver and review I&C engineering deliverables
• Collaborate with internal teams, clients, and vendors
• Provide independent technical assurance aligned to relevant standards
• Contribute to project estimates, schedules, and risk registers

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in I&C engineering within oil & gas and/or energy transition projects
• Familiarity with relevant UKCS codes and regulatory frameworks
• Ability to manage scope independently or lead a small team
• Strong communication skills and a solutions-driven mindset
