Senior Group Accountant – GCC Region (UK Qualified)

Overview

Our client is seeking a UK-qualified Senior Group Accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with 5–10 years of post-qualification experience to join their team. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in providing in-depth financial oversight and operational analysis across multiple subsidiary companies.

Responsibilities

• Financial Oversight: Review and validate subsidiary financial reporting including management accounts, bank and facility reports, receivables, inventory, and profitability by product.
• Process Assurance and Compliance: Investigate the underlying data and processes behind summarised reports to ensure accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Group policies.
• Operational Finance Review: Perform financial evaluation of divisions and subsidiary companies. Evaluate key operational areas such as cashflow, receivables, inventory management, and procurement processes.
• Stakeholder Management and Mentorship: Build strong working relationships with finance teams across different companies and cultures.

Qualifications

• **Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) from the UK – essential
• **Minimum 5–10 years post-qualification experience (PQE) in finance and accounting
• **Exposure to multi-company / group structures, preferably across international jurisdictions
• **Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
