Accounts Administrator
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Accounts Administrator to join our finance team and assist with the day-to-day financial operations of our business. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of finance, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively within a team.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and understand weekly cashflow reports
- Perform daily bank reconciliations
- Assist with accounts receivable and payable tasks
- Produce staff payroll reports and communicate with payroll suppliers
- Reconcile month-end balance sheets and post journals
- Handle adhoc duties including staff expenses, credit card reconciliation, and VAT returns
- Provide support to the finance assistant and wider finance team
Qualifications:
- HNC or HND in finance and/or previous experience in similar roles
Day-to-day:
- Utilize strong Excel skills
- Work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders
- Demonstrate confidence in invoice factoring and Sage knowledge
- Experience with contractor payroll and pension knowledge is advantageous
