We’re partnering with a leading energy services company to appoint a Regional Director based in Kuala Lumpur. This is a pivotal leadership role with responsibility for shaping culture, driving business development, and leading strategic growth across the region.

About the Role

You’ll promote a regional culture aligned with company values while delivering annual plans focused on trading performance, safety improvements, operational efficiency, and team development.

Key responsibilities include:

• Lead & Inspire: Oversee regional operations and sales, setting the strategic direction for APAC.
• Drive Growth: Develop and maintain the regional business plan, ensuring profitability and operational excellence.
• Plan & Communicate: Define priorities, communicate objectives, and align teams with global strategy.
• Develop Talent: Lead recruitment, training, performance management, and succession planning.
• Champion Safety: Promote a strong safety culture and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate Globally: Work closely with corporate functions and participate in global leadership committees.
• Deliver Results: Manage P&L accountability and safeguard company assets while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

• 5–10 years’ experience in a similar leadership role within the oil & gas sector.
• Strong people management skills with a proven track record in performance leadership.
• Highly motivated and able to inspire and motivate others.
• Solid understanding of engineering and service/product delivery in oil & gas.
• Commercially focused with a commitment to meeting client needs, delivering on time and to the highest quality.
• Good knowledge of environmental and health & safety standards.
