Finance Manager
Overview
Our Client is seeking a Finance Manager to join their team and ensure that the administrative and accounting functions directly support the company’s efficient, cost-effective, and client-focused service. The ideal candidate will maintain and develop excellent relationships with customers, manage financial processes, and provide continuous quality service.
Responsibilities
- Maintain awareness of and compliance with the company’s health & safety, environmental, and quality management systems
- Manage a team covering purchase ledger, sales ledger, and other accounting functions
- Prepare and analyse trial balance, management accounts, and balance sheet
- Ensure accuracy of accounting systems and product profitability analysis
- Deliver weekly P & L reporting and cash flow forecasts
- Assist with external audit and preparation of statutory accounts
- Actively participate in business-wide reporting, process, and system improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, CMA)
- Proven experience in financial management and leadership role
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting processes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Day-to-day
- Ensure financial implications of business decisions are considered
- Review payment proposals and control payroll processing
- Champion the company’s vision, mission, and values
- Represent the company internally and externally, demonstrating company values at all times
