Job Description

Our client is seeking an experienced Head of Sales & Business Development (UK & Europe) to take ownership of the regional commercial strategy across the UK and Europe. This senior role will be responsible for driving growth through the identification and development of new product opportunities, building and leveraging market intelligence, delivering against budgeted sales targets, and ensuring robust management of CRM and sales pipeline data.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct all business activities in line with company ethics, values, and governance standards
  • Lead and develop the Business Development Managers, engaging with both new and existing clients to strengthen market presence and raise awareness of the organisation’s capabilities
  • Promote the company’s products and services, clearly articulating value propositions and competitive advantages
  • Identify market gaps and opportunities where the product or service offering can be expanded or adapted, working closely with internal teams to deliver growth
  • Drive accuracy, consistency, and accountability across European sales pipeline reporting
  • Ensure effective recording, management, and analysis of sales and marketing data within CRM systems
  • Meet or exceed the agreed sales budget and performance targets for the allocated territory

Qualifications

  •  HND or Degree qualified (2:1 or above) in Engineering or a relevant business discipline is desirable, but not essential

  • Commercially astute with a strategic mindset
  • Proven track record of success in North Sea or wider Oil & Gas commercial roles
  • Engaging, credible, and trustworthy sales leader
  • Highly self‑motivated with excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills
