We are looking for a dedicated and motivated Senior Commercial Advisor to join our client, a leading UK-based provider of integrated infrastructure solutions. Specialising in the management and operation of high-hazard, highly regulated industrial sites, the organisation has a strong presence in Aberdeen and operates across the UK, Europe, and the Americas. Serving sectors such as oil & gas, LNG, power generation, renewables, and chemicals, their mission is to drive asset performance, safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Responsibilities
- Manage commercial operations for key agreements (TPAs, CTIAs, land leases, service agreements, proximity/crossing agreements, pigging agreements), ensuring all contractual obligations are met accurately and on time.
- Act as primary liaison with external stakeholders, including upstream shippers, downstream NGL infrastructure owners, National Gas, and NSTA.
- Support the framing, negotiation, and execution of new commercial agreements.
- Assist new shippers during start-up to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Coordinate with Gassco on Vesterled facility operations.
- Work closely with NSMP and legal teams on contract amendments and ad hoc commercial matters.
- Collaborate with technical teams (pipelines, metering, control room) to align commercial operations with business needs and contractual requirements.
- Manage SIRGE JV activities.
- Provide support to operations teams on gas-related issues (outages, gas specifications, process modelling).
- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations and commercial principles in hydrocarbon allocations.
- Assist metering team with audits and dispensations related to gas quality and metering equipment.
- Contribute to resolving commercial disputes effectively.
- Participate in the commercial operations on-call rota.
Qualifications
- Degree or equivalent in Finance, Legal, Business, or Engineering.
- Proven commercial experience in the UKCS oil and gas industry, ideally within the midstream sector.
- Strong understanding of commercial agreements (TPAs, proximity agreements, leases, service agreements, decommissioning agreements).
- Excellent IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and ideally Power BI.
- Strong numeracy, literacy, and business acumen with the ability to identify commercial, operational, and financial risks.
- Knowledge of upstream operations desirable (e.g., metering, gas quality specifications, dispensations).
- Understanding of gas metering principles, allocation, attribution, and nomination.
- Commercial mindset focused on delivery, performance, and problem-solving.
- Ability to communicate effectively across technical, operations, commercial, and legal teams.
- Highly organised, proactive, flexible, and able to meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with UKCS industry standards and regulations.
